All TV stations now allowed to air UHURU/RUTO’s inauguration for FREE

The Organizing Committee of next Tuesday’s Presidential inauguration ceremony at Kasarani Stadium has appeared to beat a hasty retreat after its earlier decision to award the broadcasting rights for the ceremony to a private DJ unit were met with stern opposition.

Reports now indicate that the Director of the Presidential Press Service, Isaiah Kabira has now told all of Kenyan TV stations that they are free to air the inauguration ceremony without having to pick the feed from a private intermediary.
Kabira reportedly came to the decision after meeting with the representatives of various TV stations on the sidelines of the rehearsal exercises going on at Kasarani.
